Boat Earrings

Iridescent and light reflective, these stunning earrings add light to the face and their contemporary form is fashion forward and sophisticated.  Made using both black and white Mother or Pearl and Paua shell (sourced sustainably from New Zealand restaurants where the Abalone shell is discarded after the meat is used.)   

These earrings have sterling silver posts.  Mother of Pearl comes from deep beneath the ocean, a smooth shining iridescent substance forming the inner layer of the shell of some molluscs.  We polish it to reveal a stunning luminescence.
