For decades, Lisa Carney Design collections have been charming their way around the globe. Lisa, creates beautiful jewellery that is relaxed, elegant and favoured by tastemakers internationally. Lisa’s fashion pieces have been sold on the Champs Elysee in Paris, selected to showcase to fashion buyers at the Australian Embassy in New York and featured in more than 50 magazines internationally, with articles in Harpers Bazaar and Australian Vogue. Kirstin Dunst and Nichole Kidman have been styled wearing Lisa Carney Design and her collections have graced the catwalk for Australian Fashion Week numerous times.
Lisa’s childlike curiosity and free spirit, connects her to her constant source of inspiration in nature and the ocean. But her penchant for design has also developed from her worldly lifestyle that exposes her to international art and design. Honing her expertise to create a relaxed and elegant aesthetic, to continuously come up with a quarter of a century of new collections.
Her global business at it’s peak grew to supply 240 retail stores including her own stores in Bondi Beach and The Rocks in Sydney. Lisa moved to the UK, started a family and opened a store in Warwick. She is now based in Avoca Beach, north of Sydney and her "slow fashion” pieces are are mostly made in Australia and available globally via her stockists and online stores.
